Taste the Black Forest
The Nature Park hosts of the Black Forest Nature Park Central/North bring the Black Forest onto the menu.
More than 20 committed and creative restaurant owners of the community of Nature Park hosts from the Black Forest Nature Park Central/North put their trust in regional products. You will feel and taste the attachment to their home, to nature and the regional producers and farmers.
The hosts set great store by fresh products and excellent ingredients which are delivered by well-known partners directly from the Nature Park. The close cooperation between the nature park hosts and the producers and suppliers is not only a guarantee for quality but causes as well a unique symbiotic relation between agriculture, nature conservation, tourism and gastronomy. By this means, we are directly supporting the producers who cultivate our landscape. The cattle, for example, protect the sandstone plateaus around the Schliffkopf from overgrowing and take care of nature just around the hotel. This cattle will also be used in our hotel's kitchen and can be found on the menus of the nature park hosts as a special recommendation.
The menu "Taste the Black Forest" is created by each nature park host with own regional delicacies, thus becoming a gastronomic tour of the Black Forest Nature Park Central/North which is - without any doubt - worthwhile.
